TravelNet History

Our history

More than 20 years ago, our founders, brothers Charles and Ryan Bailey, started a company with the vision of creating online technology to power bookings for the hospitality industry. Today, that vision has been realized.

TravelNet Solutions continues to grow as a leading provider of integrated software and solutions for thousands of hotels, resorts, lodges, ranches, inns, B&Bs, and vacation rental companies throughout the world. Our heritage of innovation is already transforming the way hospitality works. Imagine a world where every hospitality company can compete on a level playing field. We're well on our way.

1999 - The Beginning
Our company started with humble beginnings — home offices and college dorm rooms. Charles and Ryan Bailey, along with their third partner, Darin Anderson, built and launched Availability Tracker as one of the first online booking engines for independent lodges and resorts. They believed that one day the internet would be the primary way people would book lodging.
2003 -
Around the same time as TravelNet Solutions was being formed, NASA gave a grant to Michigan State University, who in partnership with Polyphasic created as a test vehicle for a new global content management system. Seeing the site as a perfect complement to their Booking Engine technology, TNS acquired and the site quickly grew to be a prominent site for consumers to research, plan and book unique lodging properties throughout North America.
2007 - Innovating The Future
Seeing a need for a unified call tracking and data platform, TNS built Phonalytics, one of the first applications in the hospitality space providing speech analytics and revenue reporting with the ability to seamlessly integrate with advertising channels for ROI reporting. In addition to Phonalytics, TNS built the next generation of the Availability Tracker system and rebranded as RezTracker, an enterprise Property Management and online booking system for hotels and resorts. Over the next few years, TNS built up RezTracker with over 500 installs across the US.
2014 - The Next Phase
Building on a foundation of cloud experience, TNS acquired a cloud PMS for Vacation Rental Management Companies called ResortZilla. After raising $750,000 in funding from private investors, TNS relaunched the platform as Track Hospitality Software. Track is an innovative all-in-one enterprise vacation rentals software. In addition, Track built an enterprise cloud contact center and CRM platform for the hospitality industry. Track quickly scaled to a multi-million dollar business unit with top management companies such as Sage Hospitality, Remington Hotels, Viceroy and top independent hotels such as Prince Waikiki, Woodloch and Eden Roc adopting the technology to power their reservations and guest communications.
2016 - Integrated Marketing Solutions
Leveraging 15 years of digital marketing experience, and the learnings of building to millions of travelers, ResortsandLodges launched Business Solutions and evolved into an all-in-one technology and marketing services provider for unique resorts, hotels, vacation rentals, and alternative lodging companies. Customers quickly realized the benefits of our unmatched expertise, transparent reporting, and consistent execution.
2019 - A Bold New Direction For The Future
After serving customers for years as separate brands, ResortsandLodges for business and Track, we have brought our brands together with a bold new look, a unified voice, and a clarified mission and vision, to transform the way hospitality works by becoming our customers' business concierge.
2021 - First NEXT User Conference
Maybe it's a sign we're growing up, but 2021 saw the launch of our first annual user conference, NEXT. More than 150 attendees joined us in Minneapolis for a few days of education, networking, and camaraderie.
